Dr. Appointment Update

What a day I had Tuesday. I had to wake up at 6:30 am for my dr appointment and had to be there by 8 am. I ended up leaving at 7 am (I think don’t quote me on this) I had to first get a CT scan done, then go talk with the doctor. We got to his office only to find out that the scan was to be done in another building. Thankfully it was right next door. By this time it was raining and we had to go outside to get to the other building. Once we got to the building for the scan (soaking wet) I had the scan done and had to go back to the other building and talk with the doctor. It stopped raining enough by this point. He looked at the scan and compared them with the ones that were taken a few months back and everything improved so much. He just told me to keep doing what I’m doing and he would see me in July unless I had anything I needed before then.

Update

After a week back in the hospital I got to have the staples taken out and go home. As for aftercare for my head, the nurse just told me that all I needed to do was have someone clean it with Saleen and put Neosporin on it to help prevent infection. Another thing that my mom does is makes sure that her hands are super clean. (Trust me my mom is over-compulsive when it to hygiene and me) because of everything, she is doing my head is looking good. My hair is even starting to grow back. The Dr had to shave my head to do the surgery. It’s just hair it will grow back and even thicker than it was. As you can see the j scare is still there I love that.

A set back

I had a set back a few days after getting home. I realized I was starting to feel weak and started to experience abdominal pain and ended up back in the hospital being diagnosed with pancreatitis again. I then had to go on a strong antibiotic and continue to rest. Before that I along with the abdominal pain could not keep anything down. I also ended up being diagnosed with a bladder infection Thankfully today is a whole new day and new story. I feel so much better still have a bit of pain but it is significantly more better than when I first got to the hospital. Thank you God I am feeling so much better and will continue to feel better. I might be here for a few days but it is what is best for me and my health.

My recent surgery experience

This was me just a month out of what was supposed to be a routine kidney stones removal surgery turned into the hardest month of mine and my family’s life. You see I was born with spina bifita and hydrocephalus and had to have something called a vp shunt put in at birth. I had a pretty normal childhood except for the occasional surgery and hospital stay because I get sick very easily until October of 2022. I found out that I had kidney stones and because of the scoliosis I have I’m not able to pass them so I have to have surgery to remove them. Some how during surgery my shunt malfunctioned and I needed surgery to fix it. Thankfully it was a success but I wasn’t out of the woods yet I then developed pancreatitis. I then had to have treatment to fix that. I then had to go on a strong antibiotics to protect my pancreas and other things. Just the fact that I have survived the past month shows how good God is.
